          Inline Speed Skating Team

Welcome to the Team Website

Roller speed skating is a great way to keep in shape, express your competitive side, or just have fun. We welcome both Quad and Inline skaters and are always looking for new skaters to join our team. For practice times see our Schedule page. All ages are welcome we only ask that you already know how to skate (get around the track without falling too often).

2010 National Championship Recap

Just a quick update on how Nationals went.

Everyone arrived ready to skate to only find out that the floor did not dry correctly and they canceled the first day's events. That made the next 2 days very busy while they crammed 6 hours of racing into the next 2 days. Everyone came back ready to skate on that second day. In Standard we had Isaac, Benton and Caelan skating, Skating was excellent by all three skaters Isaac came away with a 2nd and 3rd place medals for the individual and finished 4th overall or tied for 3rd depending on how the points turned out. (New scoring system). Caelan skating awesome for it being her first Nationals I was very proud to have her out on the floor and skating her best everytime no matter the outcome. Benton skated the best I have seen him skate, Master men is a fast division and each race he was on National Record pace, things just didn't fall into place but he skated great. All three standard skaters should be proud of how they skated and hungery for next year to improve even more!.

Novice skaters Amanda and Tiffany skated great and as expected. Just like the way a lot of races went at Nationals things just didn't work out for them.. Tiffany had great starts in all her races and was in control and confident about her skating she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time in the Semi's. Amanda has done nothing but improve since regionals and also made the same semi's as Tiffany.

Fred skated quads and had some tough races against the younger Grand Veterans!

Our adopted skater from up north skated great! Shelbi won the Novice Junior Women's Division overall and won the 1000m race and set a new National Record in that event!! Way to go Shelbi!
